Solaris 7 Locale Packages

 

Solaris 7 is an internationalized operating system. Locales are added to it by adding Solaris packages by using the pkgadd command. To ease the process, you can use the l10npkgadd script. Before you begin review the notes on adding locales for how to use the script, and other special considerations.

Locales are classified as partial or full locales. (See the Solaris locales FAQ for information about the types of locales.)
