Projects and Files Windows Keyboard Shortcuts - Sun Java Studio Creator 2 Update 1

This topic describes how to use the keyboard shortcuts to work with the Projects Window and Files Window.

To perform this task	Follow these steps
Open or change the focus to the Projects window	Press Ctrl-1.
Open or change the focus to the Files window	Press Ctrl-2.
Build a project	Press Ctrl-Shift-B.
Clean a project	In the Projects window, select the project and press Shift-F10. In the pop-up menu, use the arrow keys to select Clean Project, and then press Enter.
Copy a project	With the focus on the project name, press Shift-F10. Use the arrow keys to scroll to Save Project As. Press Enter to open the Save As dialog box, type the name of the copy, the press Enter.
Create a project	Press Alt-F to open the File menu. Use the arrow keys to scroll to New Project. Proceed through the wizard.
Debug a project	See About Debugging.
Delete a project item	In the Projects window, select the item. Press Shift-F10, use the arrow keys to choose Delete, and then press Enter.
Deploy a project	See About Deployment.
Export a WAR file	In the Projects window, select the project. Press Shift-F10, use the arrow keys to choose Export WAR File, and then press Enter. In the Export WAR dialog box, press Tab to choose the Java specification to which your target container conforms. Enter the location to which to export the WAR file, and then press Enter.
Find files, text strings, and objects in a project	In the Projects window, use the arrow keys to select the project or any folder and press Ctrl-F. Enter the search criteria.
Run a project	Press Ctrl-F5.
Save a project	Press Ctrl-Shift-S.
Set current theme	In the Projects window, scroll to the Themes node and use the right arrow to open the Themes node. Press Shift-F10, use the arrow keys to choose Set as Current Theme, and then press Enter.
Set main project	In the Projects window, select the project node. Press Shift-F10 and use the arrow keys to select Set Main Project. Press Enter to save the changes. Optional: Press Escape to close the pop-up menu without saving the changes.
Set start page	In the Projects window, select the page to use as the start page. Press Shift-F10 and use the arrow keys to choose Set as Start Page. Press Enter to save the changes. Optional: Press Escape to close the pop-up menu without saving the changes.
Close the Project window or Files window	Press Ctrl-F4.
