A template is a unit of work that you can create and reuse. You can create templates from items, such as web pages, inside of a project for reuse in different projects.

To create an item template:

In the Projects window or Files window, right-click the item from which you want to create a template, such as Page1.jsp, and choose Save As Template.
In the Save as Template dialog box, select the template's category and click OK.
