When you create a project, the IDE creates all project files in the following directory:
- Microsoft Windows system: My Documents\Creator\Projects
- UNIX® and Mac OS systems: $HOME/Creator/Projects
When you change this
location, existing projects remain in their current location, but new projects are created in the
new location.
- Note: The IDE maintains your user settings in a different location:
- Note: Microsoft Windows system: \Documents and Settings\username\.Creator\2_1
- Note: UNIX® and Mac OS systems: $HOME/.Creator/2_1
To change the location where projects are created:
- From the main menu, choose Tools > Options.
- In the Options window, select the Basic view.
- Scroll down and select Project Settings.
- In the Properties node on the right side of the window, click the ellipsis button (...) next to Default project folder.
- In the Default Project Folder dialog box, browse to the location where you want to create new projects and click OK.
