Nesting is putting components inside container components in the component hierarchy. In the following example, the static text, drop-down list, and button are nested in a group panel.
When you view the component hierarchy in the Outline window, it matches the hierarchy in the Visual Designer.
To nest a component:
- In the Visual Designer, drag the component on top of the container component in which
it should nest.
To rearrange nesting order:
- In the Visual Designer or Outline window, select the component and drag it to a new position in the component hierarchy.
