Web Services Node

See Also

The Web Services node Web Services node icon in the Servers window enables you to add, view, and group web services.

When you add a web service, you make it available in the IDE to your applications. To add a web service, right-click the Web Services node and choose Add Web Service to open the Add Web Service dialog box.

After you add a web service, the IDE adds a new node for it under the Web Services node. If you expand the node for the web service, you see the web service's methods.

If you right-click the Web Services node and choose Create Group, the IDE adds a new folder under the Web Services node. You can add web services to the folder by right-clicking the folder and choosing Add Web Service.

To enable an application to use a web service's methods, drag the web service's node to a page for that application (or right-click the web service's node and choose Add to Page).
