The current release of Java DB is supported on Sun Java Runtime Environment 1.4 or later on the following platforms:

• Solaris OS: 8 (SPARC), 9 and 10
• Linux: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 and 5
• Microsoft Windows: XP, Vista, 2003 and 2008
