Dynamic Service Composition with Open ESB: JavaOne Poll Application

Using OpenESB, learn to integrate back-end services and legacy systems, orchestrated via BPEL and exposed as a new web service. The exercise in this Hands-on Lab covers the core components of OpenESB, following service-oriented architecture (SOA) best practices. The scenario implemented in the lab is a full-functioning JavaOne[SM] conference survey/poll application that integrates into existing back-end systems, accumulates poll results, processes them, and generates live reports.

This lab has no prerequisites, but an SOA, integration, or middleware background will be useful. The session is aligned with other OpenESB/Java Business Integration (JBI)/SOA technical sessions.
