Implementations of JSR 1, the Real-Time Specification for Java, are starting to be successfully deployed. The early adopters are already looking forward to the next step. In this session, Real-Time Specification for Java providers IBM and Sun, along with JSR 302 specification leader Doug Locke, present the status of the existing real-time-related JSRs: JSR 50, JSR 282, and JSR 302--and a brand-new JSR that should enable us to benefit from recent improvements in memory management technologies.
