The Limitations of JavaServer Faces Technology And How To Overcome Them
TS-7890

Presenter: Shay Shmeltzer, Oracle

JavaServer Faces technology (JSF) is the Java EE platform standard solution for Web based development, but can it really address your application development needs? What do you need to know before you start developing your next JavaServer Faces technology (JSF) application?

In this session we'll describe some of the most common issues that developers have faced when developing with JavaServer Faces technology (JSF) and we'll show you possible solutions to these issues.

We'll look into Ajax integration, templating, component creation, conversation scope, and binding to business services such as POJOs, EJBs and Web Services.

We'll also describe some advance capabilities such as reusability of JavaServer Faces technology (JSF) flows and page fragments which are offered by Oracle's JavaServer Faces(JSF) -based ADF framework.
