Mobile Java and Sprint - Developer Tools

Develop at SprintSpeed with Java ME Technology and NetBeans 6.0 IDE.
Powerful solutions for mobile app design, development, testing, and emulation.

Sun Microsystems is working with Sprint/Nextel to provide developer tools for two Sprint platforms: the Sprint Wireless Toolkit 3.2 for MSA and the Sun Java Wireless Toolkit for the Sprint Titan Platform, Sprint's next-generation mobile platform. Both toolkits work with the NetBeans 6.0 IDE.

Sprint Developer Kits

The Sprint Wireless Toolkit 3.2 supports multiple MIDlet development based on MSA, which includes Java ME APIs like CLDC 1.1, MIDP 2.1 and a growing list of optional packages, as well as Sprint Extension APIs like Sprint Media Extension API and Sprint Location Extension API and is built on Sun's high-performance, deployment ready Java virtual machine.

Titan Developer Tools

The Sun Java Wireless Toolkit for the Sprint Titan Platform provides developer tools for building and testing applications based on the Java ME MIDlet and OSGi bundle application models. These developer tools are integrated with the NetBeans IDE 6.0 Mobility Bundle and include an on-device simulator tool for Windows Mobile 6 Professional.
