If relevant, please describe different partnership types/levels: The BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program consists of programs and resources that are essential to the creation of successful applications for BlackBerry. Access to technical and marketing resources is dependent upon the level of membership. The BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program includes three membership levels:

BlackBerry Alliance Members are ISVs who commit resources to develop and deploy applications for BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds. This program level offers access to a broad array of on-line technical, marketing and sales resources. A significant benefit of participating at this level is visibility of the solution within the BlackBerry Partner Newsletter that is accessed by RIM's reseller community and the BlackBerry Connection? email newsletter that is distributed to BlackBerry customers.

BlackBerry Select Alliance Members are ISVs who have created software products that operate with BlackBerry at an enterprise-level and who desire to work closely with RIM on co-marketing opportunities. Select Alliance Program Members must commit to invest a minimum of $25,000 U.S. in Marketing Development Funds and require a BlackBerry Certified Professional on staff. BlackBerry Compatibility Testing is a mandatory qualification at this level of membership. A significant benefit of participating at this level is access to a support team consisting of RIM Marketing, Engineering Development and Business Development personnel who work with Select Alliance Members in the creation of a complete collaborative strategy to market the Alliance Program Member's solution in conjunction with BlackBerry.

BlackBerry Premier Alliance Members are market leaders within their respective market segments who are interested in having a strategic relationship with RIM. Their solutions are enterprise-focused and primarily horizontal in nature, meeting the demands of BlackBerry customers. Premier Alliance Members must commit to invest a minimum of $100,000 U.S. in Marketing Development Funds and require a minimum of two BlackBerry Certified Professionals on staff. BlackBerry Compatibility Testing is a mandatory qualification at this level of membership. Premier Alliance Members also receive access to a RIM Marketing, Engineering Development and Business Development support team to assist them in the creation of a complete, co-marketing strategy for co-promotion of the Alliance Program Member's solution in conjunction with BlackBerry. This level of commitment and investment grants the ISV with the highest level of marketing and technical support within the BlackBerry ISV Alliance Program.
