Bit3 PCI Expander box with 7 cards, including Adaptec 2940 and Fore ATM. The rest of the box was filled with Aurora 8000P and 16000P cards.

  1. Port-To-Port Loopback testing at 115KBps between two different ports via a loopback cable.
  2. Single Port Loopback testing on several ports.
NO ERROR observed. Verified functional tests PASSED.

Product Test Notes/Warnings

To determine how many serial port devices are created, type the following commands at the system prompt.

  1. Change directories to the serial devices location:
    # cd /dev/cua
    
  2. List all the devices for which ports are created:
    # ls -ltr
    

NOTE A: Basic tests include:

  1. pkgadd/ pkgrm
  2. Boot verification (The system boots UNIX with card installed)
  3. PCI 2.1 compliance (Tests PCI hardware interface)
