Sun Common SCSI Architecture (SCSA):
- Divides SCSI drivers into two major classes:
- SCSI HBA drivers control the HBA SCSI bus controller
- SCSI target drivers control the actual device (e.g.
disk, tape) that is attached to the SCSI bus
- Makes target drivers independent of the HBA devices
