USB Security Script

USB Security: Background
Many USB users are concerned about unauthorized hot-plugging, for example, inserting a USB memory stick to copy data.

What Utility Can Be Used?
The usbsecure.pl script can be used to implement USB device access control. This script allows you to disable all USB devices or allow only the devices that are currently connected to the system. For example, you can allow the keyboard and mouse, USB audio, and USB serial, but not USB mass storage.

The script is accompanied by a Readme file and a demo.

Download the usbsecure.pl script. (Note: Save file without the .txt suffix.)
