Get Access to OpenSolaris and SPARC Processor-Based Systems

Develop your C and C++ applications on the Cloud — all you need is an internet connection and a web browser to connect to a virtual SPARC machine preconfigured with developer tools.

Project Speedway provides developers universal access to OpenSolaris on SPARC processor-based Sun systems, to develop, build, test and tune applications. Developers get access to configured and ready to use development platform with highly optimized compilers and a complete debug and tune tool chain, via a host-independent browser interface or an IDE interface.

Discover

With Project Speedway, you can get access to a full desktop environment pre-configured and set up with tools for developing, building, and tuning applications. With SDN registration, you can log into the Cloud — either through a browser interface or a NetBeans IDE C++ module (from the NetBeans Update Center) — to build your applications.

With a browser interface, you can get a full OpenSolaris GNOME Desktop from the Cloud or a CLI interface for easy-to-use services like Build, Test, Debug, and Profile. You can use Speedway with projects and code in external respositories, such as Kenai.com. (You mount projects from external version-control respositories via the Web interface.)

To learn more, see the Project Speedway Data Sheet.
