System Requirements
The Forte Fortran software supports versions 2.6, 7, and 8 of
the Solaris Operating Environment (SPARC® Platform Edition) in
Developer or Full Cluster configurations.
- Windowing system supports Motif 1.2.3 libraries
- Memory: 256 MB recommended; 128 MB minimum
- Swap Space: 300 MB recommended; 200 MB minimum
- Peripherals: Local or network access to a CD-ROM drive (if installing from CD-ROM)
- Browser: Netscape Communicator 4.0 or a compatible Netscape version, with JavaScript technology enabled
- OS Configurations: Developer or Full Cluster Distribution
