Sun Web Developer Pack

The Sun Web Developer Pack (SWDP) helps you to leverage emerging web technologies and techniques to create interactive and dynamic web applications for the enterprise. This toolkit is a collection of technologies for Ajax, Scripting and REST-based services development supported by a NetBeans plugin that simplifies the design and development of Rich Internet Applications. It includes Propono — an Atom client and server library, and bug fixes to all the existing components and updates to the NetBeans plug ins.

Download

There are two ways to get the Sun Web Developer Pack:
  1. Download the SWDP from the GlassFish Update Center, where you'll get the very latest versions of each component and you'll also be able to join the open source community. Once you get there, simply install Glassfish V2, which is a production-ready Java EE 5 open source application server. Here's how.

  2. You can still download the Sun Web Developer Pack, Release 2 as a bundle. Here are the Installation Instructions. Find more documentation on this page.
If for some reason you need Release 1 of the SWDP, here it is.
